Type your 4-digit number, then check the name that comes up is you.
Do this at the end of every AM and PM shift, before you leave. Tap a number above to jump to that step.
Type your 4-digit number, then check the name that comes up is you.
Tap your shift and confirm today's date.
Always close AM first — PM can't finish until AM is submitted.
Hours split automatically at 4:00 PM. Hand-fix the list if something looks off.
The split lands exactly at 4:00 PM even if you worked straight through it. Clock out within 30 minutes after, by 4:30, and the whole shift stays on AM.
You can hand-edit anyone's hours, or pull them from the pool entirely, say for a trainee.
Green means you're clear to close. Red spells out exactly what to fix.
If you can't fix it yourself, get a manager.
If your table paid late, it goes to the other shift — tap Claim to bring it back to you.
Only claim tables you actually worked. PM's own POS window then starts right after your claimed table's payment time rather than the usual 4:00 PM.
Won't be there when a table closes? Sell it and collect your cut before you go.
The rate is 10% unless your store's changed it, printed right on the row. The price locks the moment you sell; a comp or delete cancels it and pays nothing.
Tap Unsell to undo a mistake, same day — but only until PM submits, since that locks it for good. The money comes from PM's pool and splits like every other tip; PM sees the table marked with your name on it, so nothing here is hidden.
Subtract your $200 float and type in what's left.
Keep the float itself at $200 both at the start of your shift and the end — that's separate from this count. This is the one number the app can't check for you, so get it right.
Two numbers fill in on their own; sanity-check them against your count.
If they're way off, recount before you submit. A typo here is the most common reason a shift bounces back.
The app works out exactly what to do with the cash — just follow it.
It might say "put $X in the envelope" or "distribute $X to staff," and it changes shift to shift, so read whichever one you got.
Confirm the Closing employee — it's usually you.
Required — the shift can't end without it. If someone else actually closed the floor, set it to them instead.
Once the banner's green, tap Submit; numbers lock the instant you do.
Everything autosaves as you go, so a tablet lock or a distraction won't lose your count. Catch a mistake after you submit? Tell a manager instead of reopening it yourself.
Recount the drawer once before assuming the app's wrong. Still off after that, get a manager.
Leave it alone. Tell a manager which shift, and what's wrong.
PM can't close until AM does. Track down whoever ran AM, or flag a manager.
